Does this tool check AION 2 name availability?

No. It creates name suggestions locally. Only the game can confirm whether a name is allowed and available on your server.

Are these official AION 2 lore names?

No. The names are original combinations inspired by fantasy naming styles, not a database of official characters.

Can Elyos characters use the Asmodian style?

The style labels are creative prompts, not game restrictions. Use any suggestion that passes the in-game naming rules.

How should you choose an AION 2 character name?

Choose a name you can comfortably say in voice chat, then try it in character creation on the server where your friends play. A beautiful name that is difficult to pronounce becomes frustrating during dungeon calls. Keep a few alternatives because a name that is available on one server may not be usable on another.

The generator combines original syllables into pronounceable fantasy names. Elyos is the brighter, flowing preset; Asmodian favors sharper sounds; Neutral suits an adventurer without a strong faction theme. These styles are our creative choices. They are not an official naming system and do not determine which faction can use a name.

Make a shortlist before character creation

Select the mood you want and generate eight suggestions.
Say the best two or three aloud. Pick something your party can recognize quickly.
Copy a suggestion and test it in the game’s character creation screen.
If it is unavailable, change a syllable or choose another result. Avoid relying on punctuation or special characters unless the game accepts them.
Confirm your faction, server and class before completing character creation.

The generator does not validate the game’s maximum length, reserved words or regional naming rules. The current in-game validation is authoritative. Suggestions are not promises of availability, and generating a name here does not reserve it.

Match the name to your character’s role

A short, direct name can work well for a Templar or Gladiator because your teammates will often call for an immediate response. A more flowing name may fit the character you imagine for a Cleric or Sorcerer. This is flavor rather than a rule; your preferred playstyle matters more than a naming convention.

If you are still choosing a main, use the AION 2 tier list before locking your character. Group demand, solo comfort and PvP utility answer different questions. The Elyos or Asmodians guide explains the faction decision separately, so you can choose a name that fits the character you actually want to keep.

Privacy and copying

Generation happens entirely in this browser tab. Your names are not sent to NCSoft or saved to an account. The Copy button uses your browser’s clipboard permission. If copying is unavailable, select the displayed text manually. The page includes four suggestions even with JavaScript disabled.
